Research Areas

Mathematical physics, conformal field theory, and quantum information in quantum field theory.

Education

  • 2019-2024, Ph.D. in Physics, University of Kentucky.
  • 2018-2019, M.S. in Physics, University of Crete.
  • 2010-2014, B.S. in Physics, University of Crete.

Research Summary

Nikolaos Angelinos studies quantum information, conformal field theory, and holography, with a recent emphasis on the role of error-correcting codes and ensemble structures. His work on Narain CFTs, WZW models, stabilizer states, and Abelian three-dimensional TQFT gravity explores how discrete code data can organize families of conformal theories and their gravitational duals. Related projects on Krylov-space diagnostics and long-range fermion entanglement use information-theoretic tools to probe dynamics and correlations beyond conventional local observables.
