Inside Tsinghua University, near Shuangqing Road; across from Shuangqing Apartments and west of Tsinghua University Primary School, Shuangqing campus.

Please use Shuangqing Complex Building A as the destination when arranging taxis, ride-hailing, or campus directions. Older directions to Jing Zhai, JinChunYuan West Building, or Ning Zhai are no longer the right destination for the String Theory Group.

Getting Here

• By taxi or ride-hailing: set the destination to 清华大学双清综合楼 A 座. If campus access is restricted, ask the driver to stop at the closest available campus gate and contact your host.
• By subway: Line 15 清华东路西口 station is a convenient nearby subway stop for the east side of Tsinghua. From there, use Baidu Maps, a short taxi ride, or campus directions to reach Shuangqing Complex Building A.
• From Beijing airports or railway stations: taxi or ride-hailing directly to Shuangqing Complex Building A is the simplest option, especially with luggage. Travel time varies strongly with traffic.
• Inside the building: take the elevator in Building A to floors 5-7. If you are visiting a specific person, please confirm the room number with your host in advance.

On Campus

Tsinghua campus access policies can change. Please keep your passport or ID with you, and ask your host in advance if you need a visitor pass, a gate entry note, or help entering the building.

For food, coffee, and other campus services near Shuangqing Complex Building A, ask your host for the most current local recommendations after arrival. Many payments in Beijing are easiest with Alipay or WeChat Pay.

Internet Access

Tsinghua supports eduroam. If your home institution participates, eduroam is the easiest option. Otherwise, your host can help arrange campus guest Wi-Fi access through Guest Tsinghua; this service may only be accessible on campus.

Some international web services may be restricted or unreliable in mainland China. Please prepare any necessary access tools or email forwarding before traveling.
